The numbers were deliberately messy, so there would be a need to scale up certain power generators to accurately compare with others. In the original game, only wind and natural gas were complete single-source solutions. Solar was very expensive and coal was very dirty. The simulation has been removed from their site, and I have not been able to find the methodology they used to generate cost and environmental impact numbers.
