====Tug-of-War PhET Simulation====

The tug-of-war simulation here allows you to add or subtract forces to see what happens.  When the figures on both sides look the same, the net force on the rope is zero.

**Your Assignment:**  Take screenshots to document your accomplishment of each of the tasks listed below.

  - Create a scenario where the net force is zero, and the rope is not moving.
  - Create a scenario where the net force is zero, while the rope is moving to the left.
  - Create a scenario where the net force is zero, while the rope is moving to the rope.
  - Create a scenario where the net force points to the right, while the rope is moving to the right.
  - Create a scenario where the net force points to the right, while the rope is moving to the left.
  - Create a scenario where the net force points to the left, while the rope is moving to the left.
  - Create a scenario where the net force points to the left, while the rope is moving to the right.
  - Explain why is is NOT accurate to say "A net force causes velocity, and the direction of the force determines the direction of the velocity."  How would you rephrase this statement to make it more accurate?
  - Explain how this Tug-of-War simulation is related to the joystick controls in the Helicopter Simulation.
