Science of Technology: Modulation

The "M" in AM and FM stands for "modulation". Modulation is a process that changes (or modulates) one wave with details from another wave. The results for Amplitude Modulation ("AM") are shown below. You will see how different stations could play the same sounds, and how the same station can play different sounds!
